This series are from my travels to New Orleans. I was so surprised to see all of the lush life growing from the cracks of the cement ground. Bushes grew wild, trees were gigantic, and all around me seemed to be bustling plant life. I used found ply wood as canvas and borrowed tape from a local thrift store to create the lines in all three pieces. The shades of green and pink were the last amounts of paints from a friends project I used. After taping off where branches might be and the silhouette of each piece, I put a base of paint down. Once dried, I peeled it away to create the lines shown.
